XAVIER UNIVERSITY VILLAGE

CINCINNATI, OH

The goal was to create an urban village for students attending Xavier University and the surrounding community. Keying off the surrounding urban grid a diagonal street was introduced to take advantage of the existing topographical challenges of the site. An urban park creates a welcoming foreground to the existing college campus. The program includes 900,000 sf of office and classroom space, a hotel, recreation center, student and faculty housing, retail shops and restaurants.
