PLACES is focused on exploring and defining the big idea and our process explores a range of ideas from the onset - with the client as a collaborator - with the goal of discovering what will maximize land value, building form and function, and create remarkable experiences. Emphasis is placed early on during site design to set the stage for architecture and landscape to define place and become one.

We enjoy exploring human behavior and understanding how people react in certain physical settings. This is best learned through observation - seeing and listening. By being able to anticipate these reactions during the big idea stage, we can create the environmental setting for valuable experiences to occur naturally and build upon the human emotions that a place creates.
